Our pearl barley is produced by gently grinding whole barley grains. The grains are very attractive. The golden pearl barley’s taste is pleasantly strong and aromatic, and it can be used in a variety of ways.

We purchase our organic barley exclusively from Austrian organic farmers. The organic barley is cultivated and harvested with the greatest care, in compliance with criteria on organic agriculture. It’s easy to see why Austrian barley has so much to offer you! Short transport routes reducing C02 emissions, zero genetic modification, promotion and appreciation of domestic and regional products, support for Austrian farms and their work, as well as helping to sustain natural diversity.

After harvesting, our organic barleys are cleaned several times, ensuring high purity. After their quality has been checked several times, the barley grains are hulled/ peeled in Austria.
