Our organic black rice has a nutty-sweet aroma. The taste is similar to that of wild rice although a gentle smoky note is noticeable.
Traditionally black rice is used for desserts but can also be served with hearty dishes. For such meals the rice should be steam-cooked.
For the preparation of desserts we recommend using a cooking pot or rice cooker.
Except for individual reddish grains black clover is indeed deep black.
Only after cooking it takes on a dark purple colour.
