Curry leaves have a wide range of uses in traditional medicine. For example, the leaves can be ground and drunk with buttermilk to help with stomach problems such as diarrhoea and flatulence.
Curry leaves mixed with rice, ginger and potassium chloride are said to alleviate stomach upsets and digestive problems. The same mix can be applied to the hair, as it is supposed to slow down greying. Boil curry leaves with coconut oil and allow the mixture to cool when it can be used as a hair restorer.
Eczema sufferers can make an infusion of curry leaves and goldenseal as a remedy. In cases of diabetes caused by obesity, chew and eat 10 curry leaves in the morning over a period of 3 months .

We source our organic Curry leaves from Sri Lanka. Farmers‘ gardens and fields are certified for organic cultivation.
Curry leaves are harvested together with the plant branches. The leaves are picked off, cleaned and gently dried. The leaves undergo multiple quality checks and sorted several times.
As you can imagine, farmers in Sri Lanka still greatly value work that is done by hand, carrying out many individual processing stages in the traditional way. This provides urgently needed jobs in the region, and the product also profit from direct human contact.
The Curry leaves is pressure treated and controlled in Austria. During the pressure process, the combination of pressure and time ensures that the product is completely free of pests.
