Our organic coconut palm blossom sugar has a malty taste with a pleasant flavour reminiscent of caramel. Coconut blossom sugar is not as sweet as conventional sugar. This type of sugar’s biggest health benefit is its low glycaemic index of 35-40! Coconut blossom sugar has a low glycaemic load compared to sugar, which has a high glycaemic value of 68. [1 and 2]

Origin and Production:
We source our organic coconut palm blossom sugar exclusively from Indonesia.
Sugary coconut blossom juice is found high up in the palm tree. The blossom sugar is obtained directly from the palm, running down into containers. It is then converted to syrup and finally into sugar.
Our sugar is pressure treated and controlled in Austria. During the pressure process, the combination of pressure and time ensures that the product is completely free of pests.
