The strong walnut flavour is perfectly set off by the fruity prune taste. Both ingredients complement each other, resulting in an enjoyable interesting taste. The dark prune surrounds the beige walnut, and eaten together, they are crunchy and soft at the same time.

Dried prunes contain the same nutrients as fresh prunes, in a concentrated form. That’s why dried fruits are indispensable for a balanced diet. Nuts are considered to be very nutritious and both foods should be part of a balanced diet.
Both ingredients are:

Origin and Production:
We source our organic prunes stuffed with walnuts exclusively from Uzbekistan. Large parts of the region are certified for organic farming and are worked by the local organic farmers at harvesting time only. The farmers in this area have complied with organic cultivation criteria for many years and are proud of their contribution towards sustaining the natural balance.
Both ingredients are processed with the greatest care and then gently dried using solar energy. The drying process is very eco-friendly, using a solar drying method that has a minimal impact on the product.
Other processing steps include washing, pitting, sorting and stuffing. A great deal of care is involved, and a lot of the work is done by hand
The prunes with walnuts are pressure treated in Austria. During the pressure process, the combination of pressure and time ensures that the product is completely free of pests.
