• Tree-dried
• absolutely 100% natural
• very aromatic flavour
• genuinely close to nature

Dried apricots, especially in wild growing apricots, contain the same nutrients as fresh apricots, in a concentrated form. Apricots are known for their high levels of vitamin A, vitamin C, iron and potassium [1 and 2]. That’s why dried fruits are indispensable for a balanced diet.

Description:

Our wild organic apricots grow on wild growing apricot trees. The proof is in the taste! The flavour is much more intense and stronger than that of normal apricots, they are slightly sour and far more aromatic. The natural drying process on the tree enhances this intense flavour even more. As the apricots do not undergo any further processing, they are a genuinely natural product.
The colours range from a rich golden orange to light brown. They are soft in consistency, but less soft than ordinary apricots.

Origin and Production:

We source our organic apricots exclusively from a remote mountainous region in Uzbekistan / Samarkand. Large parts of the region are certified for organic farming and are worked by the local organic farmers at harvesting time only. The farmers in this area have complied with organic cultivation criteria for many years and are proud of their contribution towards sustaining the natural balance.

After harvesting, the apricots are checked for quality and the extent of dryness. No further processing is undertaken. Mother Nature completes the entire work cycle. This is very rare, and of great value, as the natural world knows what’s best for plants and fruits.

Product purity:

The apricots are in a standard procedure pressure treated in Austria. During the pressure process, the combination of pressure and time ensures that the product is completely free of pests.
