Lupins or sweet lupins are full of protein, containing more protein than soya beans, peas and other types of bean.
Some people prefer not to eat soya beans for ethical reasons, even if they’re from Austria, as our soya beans are. Sweet lupins and the flour produced from them are an ideal alternative.
Our sweet lupin flour is carefully ground and undergoes multiple tests for gluten. We use only our cleaned sweet lupin grains to make the flour. The flour has a strong, atypical taste. The flour has a very fine consistency.
Origin and Production:
We purchase our organic sweet lupin, which we use for our flour, exclusively from Austrian organic farmers. The organic sweet lupin are cultivated and harvested with the greatest care, in compliance with criteria on organic agriculture.
